Be aware there may be vehicles moving around the Museum and of uneven ground around parts of our historic site and track. Visitors are not permitted to walk up the original 1907 banking. It is deceptively steep and slippery.

Travelling By Road

Just 1 hour from London, easy access from the M25 and A3. Follow the brown ‘Brooklands Museum’ signs until you reach the entrance to Mercedes-Benz World, marked by our Concorde Gate Guardian. The main visitor entrance of the Museum is reached via Brooklands Drive - follow the road around the back of the Mercedes-Benz World building until you reach the Museum car park.

Satnav users

If you are using a satellite navigation system, then please follow the brown and white tourist signs once you reach the Brooklands area, as your navigation system may incorrectly direct you to a private entrance where you will be redirected. The postcode for our visitor car park is KT13 0SL for most satnavs, or 'Brooklands Museum visitor car park'. If you are using what3words then use //drives.skins.gear

Vintage and Classic vehicle admission

General guidance on admission policy for classic cars via the Campbell Gate Entrance (KT13 0QN). Subject to events taking place, the following are generally admitted through the Campbell Gate:

  • No vehicles can park in the Paddock unless specifically invited to do so by prior arrangement, or when the grass has been removed, between the end of October or the beginning of November and the middle of February, subject to the vehicles meeting the age criteria.
  • On non-event days, anyone with a historic car may park in the Outer Paddock, near the scoreboard.  The government’s definition of historic is a vehicle older than a rolling 40 years as of 31 December that year, and where an MOT and road tax is not required
  • The opportunity to park a historic vehicle in the Outer Paddock is open to all visitors, Members, Club Level Members and Volunteers.  At weekends, (non-event days), Club Level members with a newer vehicle may park on site in the Campbell car park.
  • No vehicles are permitted to park elsewhere on site without prior permission.
  • The Heights fence line bays are reserved for those with a valid blue badge, please ensure this is displayed clearly on your dashboard
  • On Event days, all policies may change, including what vehicles may park on-site or in the Outer Paddock. Club Level members will have allocated parking in The Heights on event days, but are not permitted to park on-site, unless their vehicles conform to the day’s theme, or are invited to do so by the Events team.  Please see individual event pages for further details.
